Though we do try to get your food delivered as soon as possible, there are some factors that will affect delivery time such as restaurant preparation time, traffic, distance between restaurant and delivery location, etc. However, for every order we aim for a 45-60 minute turnaround. If we ever find ourselves unable to achieve this goal, you’ll be the first to know either by phone or email.
Upon submitting an order, your credit card will be preauthorized for $75.00 CAD to ensure validity of the credit card provided and/or that sufficient funds are available for the order. We only charge credit cards after we have received final receipts from the restaurants and your order has been delivered. Final receipts are emailed to customers within 24 hrs of delivery.
As with all personal information, your credit card information is kept confidential and secure. In addition, Foodsters does not handle your credit card information directly. All processing and payment is completed through PayFirma, a leader in e-commerce and online payment processing.
5 min. Grace Period
Upon submission, customers are allowed a 5 minute grace period to cancel or modify their orders. Foodsters reserves the right to refuse any cancellations received after the 5 minute grace period, at which the customer will be charged for the restaurant total(s) and delivery fee(s). Customers will assume full order charges for undeliverable orders (e.g., customer does not answer phone/door) after 15 minutes of attempted delivery.
Allergies & Food Related Issues
If you have any dietary restictions or allergies, please ensure that such information is clearly noted in the order details. As a 3rd party delivery service, Foodsters is not involved with any food handling/preparation and will not claim any responsibility for food related issues or allergies resulting from ordered food. Should such instances occur, please contact us immediately so that we can follow up with the respective restaurant.
Prices & Receipts
While we do our best to keep all menu items and prices on our EasyOrder™ pages current, menu pricing/information displayed is for reference purposes only and may be subject to change without notice.
Receipt totals provided through our Online Ordering Form and EasyOrder™ pages are estimated only and do not include taxes, and other applicable charges. Within 24 hours of delivery, you will receive a detailed receipt outlining actual restaurant and delivery totals via e-mail.
Third Party Delivery Service
Foodsters Media Ltd. acts solely as a third-party delivery service and assumes no liability related to the inherent commitments of the restaurant(s) such as, but not limited to, preparation times, quality of food and or accuracy of order.
Foodsters reserves the right to refuse any order at any time. Customers will be immediately notified of such refusals by phone or email. Foodsters also reserves the right to deny any alcohol and/or tobacco deliveries where sufficient proof of age is not provided.
Foodsters claims no direct affiliations with any of the companies or restaurants listed under our Featured Restaurants section. We have simply linked the websites or menus of each organization to our site for customer ordering convenience. In the event of order discrepancies (e.g., wrong item delivered, etc.) Foodsters will work with the respective restaurant(s) to correct your order.
Your privacy is important to us. When placing an order with Foodsters, we may require some personal information. Your personal information is protected from all third parties and is handled to ensure the utmost security and confidentiality. Personal information is described as but not limited to name, address, phone number, and credit card information. Foodsters is in complete compliance with Canadian privacy laws as per the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act Canada.
